So we’re getting lots of enquiries, which is very exciting, and there are a few questions that keep coming up, so here they are, complete with answers.

How far is the beach? Our nearest beach, Mill Haven, is one mile away down a quiet, farm track.  The photos in the gallery are of this lovely, rocky cove – brilliant for rock pooling and access to the coastal path.  Little Haven is one mile away with good rocks to jump off and good access for boats.  Broad Haven is two miles away and is a big, brilliant family beach for swimming, icecreams, surfing etc..

Where are the nearest pubs and shops? Broad Haven (two miles) has a well stocked Londis shop and Haverfordwest (eight miles) has various supermarkets.  Little Haven has three good pubs that serve food throughout the day.

What’s the site like? We are on a 6 acre organic smallholding, 3/4 mile down a single lane track, that ends at sea.  Chilled Camping will take place at the edge of our property in a large 2 acre meadow.  This looks out to sea, has mature trees at one end and over 1500 new trees planted around the rest of the site – we are aiming for a woodland feel eventually and plan to plant the whole field up with trees next October.  There is a large open central space brilliant for ball games etc

What facilities are there on site? There are compost loos, hot showers and facilities to refrigerate items and refreeze freezer blocks.  Each pitch has its own washing up, cooking (gas hob), BBQ and eating facilities.

Can we have campfires? Yes please!  We will provide your first large basket of wood for free, and after that each basket will be available at a small price (depending on cost of us obtaining it).
