The Barn

The Barn; stunning, character packed, three bed-roomed cottage. Within its thick, lime-washed stone walls its caring owners have created a light, airy haven of comfort and style with truly efficient eco-friendliness. Whether enjoying the under-floor heating provided by the ground-source heat pump and solar panels, savouring a glass of the filtered spring water that flows through the taps or admiring some of the hand-crafted and beautifully up-cycled furnishings that adorn this place, there’s no denying the integrity of the environmental ethos that has shaped this old stone barn into a homely, healthy habitat for 21st century living.

ACCOMMODATION

Sleeps a maximum of 10 plus a cot in 3 bedrooms: 2 double beds and 3 singles. and sofa bed in the lounge

UPSTAIRS

Bedroom 1: King size bed can be split into 2 singles, single bed, en suite shower room with sink & WC

Bedroom 2: 2 single beds

Bedroom 3: double bed & single bed

Bathroom : bath, shower, WC and sink

DOWNSTAIRS

Lounge:3-seater sofa, sofa bed, two armchairs TV/DVD, wood burning stove and large arched window overlooking the courtyard

cloakroom: WC and wash hand basin

Kitchen/diner: farmhouse range cooker with dual over oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, glazed door to courtyard, dining table and chairs to seat 10

OUTSIDE

There is a courtyard area with large table & benches, barbecue available on request. There is parking outside the barn for 2 cars (further cars can be parked in the car park).
