Looking for comfort & luxury, yet still have that down-to-earth outdoors experience? At Mill Haven Place we have the answer, our eco friendly Yurt holidays. Hire one of our traditional yurts and experience chilled “glamping” at its best. Yurts are circular, canvas dwellings used traditionally by the nomadic tribes of Mongolia and offer magical, spacious and wonderfully romantic accommodation.
ACCOMMODATION
YURT
Each yurt is 5m in diameter and sleeps a maximum of 4 in King size bed with 2 single futons, with a Wood burning stove, plenty of drawers and storage and solar and fairy lights
KITCHEN
Each yurt comes with its’ own fully equipped separate under cover camp kitchen and dining area, with a 2 ring gas stove, all the pots, pans and utensils you will need, a cool box and table and chairs.
OUTSIDE
Each yurt has its’ own firepit for camp fires under the stars (wood available to buy on site). We also provide a barbecue (bring your own charcoal) and picnic table for al fresco eating
The yurts are clustered around a very young 2 acre woodland (trees planted in 2010) all within sight of one another and so give a great sense of a camping community, creating a very safe environment for families. However, each one can provide enough privacy if you’re wanting to get away from it all, particularly outside of the main school holidays.
